Letter to Macbeth;

Greetings Macbeth, 

I am here to inform you about your disorders that can be diagnosed and solutions to help you. Your personality disorder results that you are very high in Schizotypal and high in Paranoid. Schizotypal is a characterized by odd forms of thinking and this disorder often seeks isolation from others. You often believe to have extra sensory ability to think that unrelated events relate to them in some important way and generally engage in eccentric behaviors. Also, you have difficulty in concentrating for long periods of time and have odd beliefs or magical thinking. I recommend that you should relax more and not think so much about what is going on. Your thoughts and magical beliefs should stop, maybe engage in activates to get your mind off things or spend time with your Lady Macbeth somewhere. Paranoid personality disorder is characterized by a distrust of others and a constant suspicion that people around you have sinister motives. This disorder often tends to be quick in challenging the loyalties of friends and loved ones and often appear cold and distant. They usually shift blame to other people and tend to carry long grudges. Some solutions that I suggest is to communicate with others easily and don’t jump into conclusions too easily. You should talk to Lady Macbeth more about your problems and solve it together instead of holding grudges with others. How do the Democratic and Republican positions on the “fiscal cliff” differ?

      According to the Democrats and Republicans differ because of their opinion on how they could create a solution to the "fiscal cliff". Republicans want to extend the tax cut equally for all Americans and Democrats wants to extend the tax cuts for some people but not for others. From one specific source, it states that "Obama wants to freeze tax rates for most Americans while allowing them to rise as high as 39.6 percent for the wealthiest people — defined as earning over $250,000 per year." and "Republicans, meanwhile, do not want to raise taxes on anyone. But in the wake of their electoral defeat last month, they have acknowledged that the wealthy will have to pay more." Therefore, two parties have their differences on the fiscal cliff, but are still disputing whether one is better than the other. 

The Google search helped my research question a lot because of how specific the question is. It made my research much easier with the search tools because I don't have to look at all of the unnecessary websites. Instead, I could search for the main question I'm trying to answer. The filter "search tool” and clicking past week helped me narrow down my search because I was able to view websites that were updated within the past week. Also, with the strategy of clicking "News" I was able to look at the "Fiscal Cliff" news that was most recent and sourced with current updates. Surprisingly, all of the strategies were new to me, they helped me a big chunk of this research and I will continue using the strategies that I used in the later future when I am researching other topics. 

All About Love

      In the presentations of All About Love, the most important aspect in dealing with love is honesty, romance, and commitment. Honesty is important in a relationship because it is what holds our integrity and how the relationship builds with trust. People disregard the the fact that honesty is the best policy. "Men tend to lie more than women" and "Women lie to gain power", these quote explains a lot about how relationships these days consist of. Men tend to neglect the fact that lying doesn't only hurt women, but it would automatically mean that they would have to fight really hard to regain back trust. And to the women who lie to gain power, they forget about how if your lover really loves you, he would not love your for your lies but who your are. Lying to gain power just means that your relationship is just a lie.
      I found the Romantic Love chapter important because society nowadays tend to not see what love is and they should know what love is about. Most people disregard the fact that love is what two people feel for in their hearts and not sex. Couples these days they tend to think that a relationship is all about sexual intercourse. Instead, they should think about how two people should get to know each other more, learn more of each other and not to be afraid to tell each other the truth. The Romantic Love chapter teaches us that with trust, communication, and respect gives us a great relationship.
      Lastly, in the commitment chapter, i found it very important because without commitment, what is love? I think that most people forget that commitment takes an important role in love. The quote, "If you don't love yourself, how do you expect to love someone else?" says it all. If you don't have self esteem then it would be difficult in loving someone else. It takes a lot to love someone, but commitment isn't just a little thing, it  play a huge role in a relationship. Two people need to stay committed and learn how to accept themselves and everything around them to love another.

Realistic

The realistic type is  people who enjoy being outdoors and working with machines, animals, and/or things. Most of the times they are practical and considerate, also like helping others and the society around them. Some possible majors that relate to the realistic type is Animal Science, Environ. Science/Studies, Bioenvironmental Engineering and Computer Science. Possible careers are Laboratory Animal Researcher, Software Technician, Veterinarian, and Environmental Health Specialist. These careers and majors are some what expected, but very surprising. Because I have thought of the certain majors that I always has an interest in, I'm content with the result that I got. After this exercise, it helped me narrow down my options on what I'd like to major in, instead of going back and forth choosing between what interests me, it gives me an idea. I'm really happy what I got the realistic type because it is basically telling me what I should pursue a career in either Animal Science to be a Veterinarian or Environmental Studies/Science majorist. So therefore, this activity helped me a lot and I'm now confident with that I want to pursue in the future.

My Hero

What makes my hero and hero? Well, it doesn't necessarily take a lot to be my hero because I think that any ordinary person has what it takes to be a hero. My parents for instances are my heroes. Why? Because throughout my life, my parents have been there for me and always catches me when I'm falling. They take time out of their lives just to do something for me out of kindness and don't expect anything back. A hero is someone that I look up to and that I want to become when I get older. The character Edward Bloom is a great example,  he worked very hard just to buy a new house for his wife and family. With his kind heart, he went out of his way in making money just to make his family happy and made sure to have a secure future ahead of them. Also, when he took a visit back at the old town, he saw how dead it was and decided to buy the whole town that wouldn't cost a single penny to everyone. That is a true hero, not being selfish and devoting your life in helping others and making sure that they are content in life. My parents could compare to Edward Book because they would always care about others whether they're important or not because they want to help out others. Without the heroes in our lives, we wouldn't learn or have anyone to run to when we need help, or save us from making mistakes. It is good to have heroes such as my parent because every step of my journey, I know that they will be the guardians that will protect me along the way.

The first link below is called A vets guide to life. This blog is from the perspective of a real Vet, answering questions from animal owners. This blogger blogs about how he lives everyday and the conditions that he faces. It also gives future veterinarians a heads up and what they're getting themselves into. I chose to follow this blog because in the future, I would like to become a veterinarian or at least have a minor degree in Pre Vet. This blog could teach me a lot of information that I didn't know about being a vet. And I'm very interested in hearing about the behavior of animals, maybe I could be the one rescuing them one day!

Aside from animals, I have an interest in the environment and sustainability. This blog talks about the most update news, from environmentalism to urban economics. I think that this blog has a lot of details and information that relates to our everyday lives. It also talks about ways everyone should be aware of their environment. I close to follow this blog because I want to pursue my future in the environmental science field and it relates to the future that we'll be living years from now!

The Hero within Ourselves.

         "Does our city need a hero?". In my opinion i think that we need a hero because there are crimes and natural disasters going on all over the world. But in my eyes, I believe that everyone is a hero at heart and has hero within themselves. It only takes a little courage and heart to help someone out. Every hero has it's own strength and weaknesses that they use. To an extent, we all have helped on another or saved one from a bad decision but it's what we decide we want to risk our lives for. In order to be a hero, you need to be positive, strong in the inside, and willing to help others. We need heroes in our lives because if there isn't any heroes then the society and environment we lived in wouldn't be safe or depended on. Without the heart and willingness, you wouldn't take the risk or even think of others.
         Sometimes if you're lucky enough, you can combat the forces of evil. For instance, you jump in front of a bullet for someone that you didn't know during a shooting and risked your life for them. At the very moment, it was either you save yourself and hide or you didn't have the intention in saving that person but your mind had a fast reflex and just knew what to do. This hero fought against the forces of evil and will be remembered as the hero to the survivor. It is important that we have heroes in this society because it shows how one can contribute to the community and how you can rely on others sometimes to feel safe. Everyone is a hero at heart, it's just the chances that we take in our lives that makes a big difference.

Education

         To extent, I think that education in America is an important factor to our lives. Without education in our lives, we wouldn't know as much and how life works. Going to school everyday is very valuable because no one can take away your knowledge. Everything that you learn is what shapes who your are. Everyone in America should be able to at least have a certain degree in education. Without it, the economy and society would be different, everyone would not know what to do with the world and there wouldn't be any changes or improvements.
         In my life, I think that education is very valuable. It would take a while, but after graduating high school and getting a degree in college, my life long dreams would come true. I would take the education that I've learned over the past few years and pursue the job that i desire. And with just a high school diploma, my salary compared with a college degree would be a big difference. It's what inspires us to push ourselves and not giving up. You'd go much further in life with  colleges degree and I want to achieve that one day.If education wasn't in apart of my life, I don't know where I'd be my now.

Hello and welcome to my blogger! I am very excited about Senior year because of the Senior project and how much fun it is... Also I'm excited about applying to college and seeing which colleges I get accepted to or get rejected to. Hopefully it will be a great year ahead of us Seniors! If i was stranded on an island, the three things that i would be is a lighter, survival book and an ipod.
